Add Comment We have confirmed pregnancy's for Sheherezad and Pipi. We are so excited...and here is how long we have to wait to see the results! Early tomorrow morning we have a ferry reservation for the 8am ferry to the main land..with our precious laod, mommy and foal to be bred by AI. Also Pallas Athena will be bred by AI. For Pipi we chose the handsome and balck Arim. Fot "Tina" we chose the hansome and "whitte" Arin. Hope they won't be confused at the clinic...they won't ..we gave them plenty of warnings on who is who..and Tina specimen is already on it's way as I write this.. Ohh..how can you walk away from the little ones?!!! If we pretend we're not home.this is why..busy taking pictures... As the sun got warmer, more birds came to clean up..eagles, vultures and the crows got slim pickings! Although home we did leave...to pick up Sheherezad and Pika from the Mount Vernon Large Animal Hospital..in 2 weeks we will know if they are pregnant! Pipi had her filly by Pan Tau last night! Both are doing great, looks like she will be a buckskin! We are so excited! I caught a vulture cleaning up the afterbirth... Well, as best plans are laid out, reality kicks in and changes have to be made.. So it did for our breeding options...Eramay was not available when we needed him. We are very thankful for Latisha to send us semen of her young stallion Arin to save the day. In 14 days we will know if Sheherezad and Ayal Pikira are pregnant... Sheherezad from Eramay, and Pika from Arin, a cremello stallion. We dropped off 2 mares to be bred by artificial insemination on Monday at the Mount Vernon large animal hospital. We brought Ayal Pikira and Sheherezad to be bred to Eramay who lives in Florida. We are so excited to see the outcome of this...a year is a long time to wait!!!! Wish us luck! |
