Has an admirer...Nikki has visited here twice now...and loves this 4 year old gelding...easy to do, he's a sweat hart!

I love summer...and we have had an unusual dry one...I'm going to miss it!      We have had lots of people visiting this summer, and still get pictures send to us. We love these!    We had the ATAA conference in WA state this year. Friday night was meet and greet at the hotel in Snohomish, next day membership meeting and visit to Cascade Gold Akhal-Tekes, followed by Sunday showing the horses here.       Shannon Mayfield did an amazing job MAKING year end award plaques...yes...she is very creative and makes these herself! She also made some horse decorations and other items she made to fund her award program that sold quickly.       Showing the horses was fun! After lunch some of the kids who ride here arrived and Zoe got her awards for competing on Paelka in eventing and showjumping! Then Seda on Pasabi showed her vaulting in front of everyone...she has only started vaulting this summer. Marina on Penta, Mia on Kegas and Zoe on Paelka rode in the front pasture and did some jumping and Zoe did some XC jumps.    Then everyone had to run for the ferry...and the girls rode some more, jumping triples!    |
