Nice note from Penta's new owner...they are enjoying long back country rides and camping in the wilderness...
 We have a slew of students...and we are going to lots of shows! First one will be this weekend. Aspen horse trials in Yelm, WA. Then a 3 day event clinic in Bellingham, followed by Whidbey island horse trials in July, Stanwood show August 3rd....and more. More foals to be born, more horses to be bred...hay to be made... Why is summer so short!     We are back to moving and riding in the front pasture...and the sun has been shining.... Here are some pictures from yesterday..     Taken by a lovely lady who came and rode with her mom today...after our ride the mares ran and reared... 
 This may sound silly...but naming can be difficult!
We like to get to know the foal a bit before we name...and have to find names and debate... Well, we finally came to an agreement.. Edeelen Yady it means "made of magic". It is very fitting for him, since he was conceived by AI, and the semen had 5% mobility!!! 
Jean is here visiting from the East coast on a grant she got to make a book. She chose our farm to take pictures. Tomorrow we are trailering the horses to the beach... Below is Pakataly getting shoes. 
 Yes...I am behind on news.... April 15th Penta left for his new home. His new owner rode him with us the day before. It has been a life long dream of her to own an Akhal-Teke... So pictures were a must...to let it sink in it really did happen! Almost the end of January....and still no "Happy New Year" greetings!!! Well, it's not because I'm some kind of "grunge" ...simply been ...yes....too busy...
