We are looking forward to riding her on the trails!
And when our students arrived in cars driving right past her, she did not think anything of it...
Such a good girl!
Here Jenny is standing on the flatbed to get her used to seeing us up above her.

Gullie is getting trained under saddle! Today was the first time she had one on, and she took it in easy stride! It does help that she was born here and is used to us hanging all over her. We lucked out this afternoon, because this morning it was snowing....again.... We are looking forward to riding her on the trails! And when our students arrived in cars driving right past her, she did not think anything of it... Such a good girl! Here Jenny is standing on the flatbed to get her used to seeing us up above her. We had a busy weekend. We had a visitor from Canada here to ride with us. On Saturday it hailed on us, on Sunday it snowed on us in the morning, and then when we went out in the afternoon it snowed some more! We had wonderful rides... Here is our Saturday ride: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6h_h9B9iew&feature=youtu.be and our Sunday ride: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cg2v8pgXWQE&feature=youtu.be Alaja's for Galina, We got this in our email today... "We got your package in the mail on Friday! Thank you so much. Galina looks fabulous!" We agree,...she does! We have Alaja's for sale at the bottom of "horses for sale" page. We had another nice visit to the beach! It is one of our favorite rides, we trot and canter the whole way, then play in the surf...except today there was none! You could see the bottom crystal clear... The horses had their fill of salt water, and checked out the bull kelp. Akhal-Teke Association of America It's official, the new board has been elected, and most of all, a new website! Please check it out at www.akhal-teke.org January 2012 We have had great weather, and gone on many trail rides, the only thing stopping us is the water level and ice. Here is a video of one of our favorite rides, to the beach! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QAPcWtWb8w The picture on the left is another favorite ride, a long way from home...and too wet and icy to cross right now, this marshland is our conditioning grounds in the summer time for three day eventing. January 2012 Here is a belated happy new year to everyone! Hindsight is always 20/20...this is going to be a good year for the Akhal-Teke! Since I write this in February, and all these things have already taken place... The American Association has new life, our farm has a refreshed website... We expect great things to happen this year! |
