Our special shipment has arrived from Great Brittain! Just in time for the breeding season...Kambarbay's semen in now in storage at Zoetis.
We hope to have a bunch of beautiful foals next year!!!

Sweet Water Farm Akhal-Teke is very excited to announce we will be the agents for the pure bred stallion Kambarbay in the USA. The frozen semen will be available in January 2014 and kept at Zoetis a top notch facility.

Kambarbay is of the Posman line, very uncommon in the US. He will always produce color.
For 2014 he will be competing in 3 day eventing. Contact us for breeding arrangements.

Kara Gush it is, meaning "black bird" in Turkmen. She is closely related to our handsome Pasabi, and we think she will be tall and black like him when she grows up.

She was born Friday the 28th, out of Pan Tau and Ayal Pikira.
She is tall for a new born!!

He's not quite all unfolded from almost a year in the womb...
Only half a day old... 

We have confirmed pregnancy's for Sheherezad and Pipi.
We are so excited...and here is how long we have to wait to see the results!

Early tomorrow morning we have a ferry reservation for the 8am ferry to the main land..with our precious laod, mommy and foal to be bred by AI. Also Pallas Athena will be bred by AI.
For Pipi we chose the handsome and balck Arim.
Fot "Tina" we chose the hansome and "whitte" Arin.
Hope they won't be confused at the clinic...they won't ..we gave them plenty of warnings on who is who..and Tina specimen is already on it's way as I write this..

As the sun got warmer, more birds came to clean up..eagles, vultures and the crows got slim pickings!

Although home we did leave...to pick up Sheherezad and Pika from the Mount Vernon Large Animal Hospital..in 2 weeks we will know if they are pregnant!

Pipi had her filly by Pan Tau last night!
Both are doing great, looks like she will be a buckskin!
