I still have my best child hood friend in Holland, and her kids are horse crazy too...today she send me the links of them competing in eventing indoors!!!!

Yes, I have been worried, not too long ago we had snow, and here we are going to a derby and clinic...I stopped by the local hardware store and bought foot and hand warmers to stuff our sleeping bags while sleeping in the horse trailer. Instead we got a warm sunny day on Friday, the day we traveled to the event, not too cold at all at night, but on Saturday it rained...a lot... Jaquelin is riding Kegas this year, she is 13 and she has gone to one schooling show with the barn she used to ride at in 2013. She did a great job riding him. 
I rode Paktaly at Training level, and he was such a trooper dealing with the soggy footing, me not being in "competition" mode, he jumped well. The clinic the following day was invaluable, Jonathan is a great teacher, I can't wait to come back in April.       |
