We had a friend recommend a dentist, and we finally  had him here! He is so booked up!
On Paktaly and Kegas he noticed the last molars had hooks that kept them from moving their poll freely!
A neighbor's horse had a broken tooth!

The horses where floated with no or minimal sedation, standing loose. It was a very peaceful experience!

Here I am..straight from the horse's mouth...he let me feel what he was talking about...

The Desert Prophet turned 4 this month and his training has begun.
After trimming his feet he got a good brush down in  the barn and then taken for a walk in the arena and down the driveway. He is so fun to work with because he is so willing and calm.

And good looking!

Jackie opened the International Akhal-Teke Horse Association Conference & China Horse Culture Festival at the Imperial Ancestral Temple in Beijing tonight 4 April 2014. To coincide with the Year of the Horse, the theme for the conference is Peace, Heritage and Dream. Zhang Yimou is the ambassador for the International Akhal-Teke Horse Association, while Jackie is the ambassador for the Chinese Horse Festival. Jackie complemented the horses, saying that they were all very beautiful and he was given a special saddle with his logo on it at the event. in addition to many different events including a China Horse Culture Exhibition, the Beijing International Horse Show, various talks and demonstrations of the unique Turkmenistan riding styles, a mutual friendship and cooperation agreement was signed between China and Turkmenistan. The Dancing Horses of the Forbidden City made a debut appearance at the opening.
