Yes, I have been worried, not too long ago we had snow, and here we are going to a derby and clinic...I stopped by the local hardware store and bought foot and hand warmers to stuff our sleeping bags while sleeping in the horse trailer.
Instead we got a warm sunny day on Friday, the day we traveled to the event, not too cold at all at night, but on Saturday it rained...a lot...
Jaquelin is riding Kegas this year, she is 13 and she has gone to one schooling show with the barn she used to ride at in 2013.
She did a great job riding him.

I rode Paktaly at Training level, and he was such a trooper dealing with the soggy footing, me not being in "competition" mode, he jumped well. The clinic the following day was invaluable, Jonathan is a great teacher, I can't wait to come back in April.

Friday we drove to Cle Elum to the new Wa State Horse Park.
We camped there for the night, and Saturday we had lessons.
Stella on Napoleon, Mia on Pudding, Marina on Kegas, Jenny on Pasabi and me on Paktaly.
This was our fist time at the park, and our first time with Mary Burke.
She was very helpful with the flatwork, gave great visuals for the kids and us, we learned a lot, the XC was fun!
We will look for her clinics again!
That afternoon we drove all the way back and up to Sunset park where Rikki was so nice to have home made dinner waiting for us! We ate, and then helped setting up the course for the Sunday schooling show.

On Sunday we had 8 horses going for jump lessons with Linda Chatfield.
Jenny is on vacation, you'd think we'd have a spare horse...but alas, so many students, I did not even get to ride!
Zoe rode the new pony Texas...he is quite the little jumper!

We were home 5 days and barely over being tired from our trip around the globe to have a jump clinic with Linda Chatfield.
Sonja rode Kegas, Marina the pony Napolean, Jenny Penta and Dagjeir and I rode Paelka and Paktaly.
All horses performed great, and I still have to publish our movies so we can see our progress!
