We had a jump clinic yesterday with Linda Chatfield. She is the Whidbey Island Pony Club instructor, and also the organizer of the Whidbey Island 3-day event held in July.
We brought 6 horses, Jenny riding Dagjeir and Penta, Sonja on Kegas, Marina on Napoleon the pony and me on Paktaly and Paelka. We all felt like it had been a long time since our last jump lessons in January...but Linda always comes up with innovative jump grids and before you know it she whips you in shape!
She had us go with no reins, jump barrels, change directions...something different for every horse/rider combination.
