May 21st, 2018 Kamil was born. His name means "perfect socks"! Only too often do horses have 3 stockings or just one and make their legs look uneven...I feel extremely lucky to have 4 matching socks! I think this colt has potential to stand at stud! Excited to see him grow up!
I am very excited that the mare Ayal Pikira is in foal to Kambarbay. The foal will be due in May.
Ayapl Pikira is suoer typee and shiney, and so is Kambarbay! Can't wait ti meet the new foal!
From the stallion Aliger I am expecting 2 foals. Aliger was born in 1995 and stands at stud in Colorado. He does not have that many foals on the ground, a real shame in my opinion!
Aktepel and Maralle are both pregnant by him.
Sweet Water Farm imported the first 10 dozes of Kambarbay's frozen semen to the US in 2014, and used it on 5 mares, four got pregnant the first try.
The foals born in 2015 were Ak Farfor out of Leucosia, Arslan Jorap out of Ahlie Rhatan, Aykyssa out of Aktepel and Komissar Hyrdar out of Sheherezad.
In 2015 Ahlie Rhatan was bred back to Kambarbay's frozen semen and Ak Hadysa has born in 2016.
Also born in 2016 were the filly Nezhnaya out of Gagatli and Swan Bir Sah out of Pipi.
I'm very excited to see the next generation from these foals!
Kambarbay, the silvery shiney perlino stallion standing at stud in England has a full sister
SARYYAGYZ is her name, she was bred by the same breeder who bred her full brother, Akhal Teke Est in Estonia
Saryyagyz has had 3 foals as of today and all have been sold in Europe.

The mare Saryyagyz
shirin Giz gave birth to a filly out of Pan Tau. Not sure what color she actually is!!!!!
she is as cute as can be!
as the days went by, and due date passed, I got anxious I would miss this birth! Due to go to the Akhal-Teke convention in Turkmenistan, the morning before getting on the plane I did an early morning check and there she was! So relieved to see that all is well!!!
a much better way to start the long trip!
Every year the international Akhal-Teke conference is held in Ashgabat. About 25 or so of guests are chosen to be at the meeting. The night before we get to practice how the procedures will go and we are shuttled off to the meeting room. first we all get a place in line to shake the presidents hand and tell him our name and association. Then we all stand on a determent spot and have our picture taken. After that we proceed to the round table meeting room and find our seats.
The president of Turkmenistan sits at the head of the round table. We have headphones for translation, someone is doing their best to translate on the go...
Here are my notes:
The president welcomes everyone and declares the official language for the meeting will be Russian.

From the horse festivale in Iran, Tehran September 2016.
The 3rd day we were to watch a jumping competition and give the winners their ribbons. Some of the riders and horses were well trained, and some where more like watching a bowling game...at least no one got hurt.
We had a lot of spare time and did a lot of sight seeing! Woman have to be completely covered yup visiting a mosque.
We visited several riding stables.
The last day was at the race track. There were a few Akhal-Teke horses racing, and one very handsome AT stallion won the race of his class. There were Iranian Arab classes, Yomut, Iranian TB's...and the crowds just went crazy! A very fun day!
Again we were to give the winners their winnings. At least by now we had learned that woman do not shake men's hands while being televised...like I did with the show jumping prize giving...oops!!!
We were all given a copy of their first studbook! I was so excited! And why did I not think of it...al in farcy!
Our flight out was at 2 in the morning that night, so we did a lot of tea drinking and talking...it was great to get to know the faces behind Face Book friends! It was a wonderful trip.
Megasus is making a clip on or glue on plastic horse shoe, one can put studs in if needed!
Available April 2017...
Can't wait to try them out!
Amrita Ibold, perfectly Teke crazy in every way.
