Visit from Italy

Last week a car drove down our driveway just as I was going to fetch horses...
"We took one of your flyers by the mail box,  we are on vacation, can we please go for a ride?"
Oh oh...NO! I said! I have a full schedule today and students arriving at 10am...
Can we pet a horse? We miss them so much!
Ok, I said. So off we went to get the horses for the morning lessons and I showed them the foals...
Turns out they both have worked with horses extensively...so...I changed my plan...ok..come for a ride..
And this is how Alex and Cecil got to ride Akhal-Tekes...

Alex is riding Pan Tau, our stallion who is 18 this year. Alex works in a jumping stable and was impressed with his jump and his foals..and most of all his great personality!
Cicil rode Paelka, who goes barefoot on our rocky trails, and is smooth as silk to ride, and has a fabulous jump.
We jumped logs in the woods, and canters up hills and had the view over the water and islands...
