July 12-14 we participated at the Whidbey Island Horse Trials.
Marina, 13 years old rode Kegas and I rode Paktaly.

Kegas and Marina got a dressage score of 51 and me and Paktaly 47.8
We weren't tp proud of our scores, but as it happens..there is a lot more to do...
I was very pleased with our performance, Paktaly was steady, we had trouble picking up the right lead canter... something we haven't had a problem with all spring...but the 3rd try we got it.

Marina and Kegas had a double clear XC round.
Same for me.
Jumping on Sunday went well for us too, clear rouds for us both, and Marina moved up to 7th place!
I finished 14th.
