Zoe and I rode Kegas and Paktayi at the Young Riders Horse Trials in Centralia, WA.
On Friday we did an extra dressage test, and we were both happy with our horses and scores, and the show started on Saturday where I got the exact same score as the day before, a 39.4 .
We did show jumping the same day and did well.
Sunday cross country I had 3 refusals at 3 different jumps! So we finished but had a huge amount of jump and time penalties!
Zoe had a stop at the water and thought she was eliminated and left the course...but according to scoring she wasn't eliminated...
Still we are happy with our rides, Zoe had never evented on Kegas and it was her first Novice event.
